[This isn't Natasha's first apology conversation. In some ways, she's better prepared for it as a result.

That doesn't mean she's happy to get it.]

Apology accepted. [Instead of arguing with him about it. She's already done that and it's dawned on her upon reflection that it wasn't especially productive.] I know you wouldn't have done that if you were yourself.

You didn't get too hurt, did you?

[It was a relief at least, to know she's not mad and she knows he wouldn't normally hurt her, or try to.]

I'm alright. [Not quite the truth but he's recovering, so it's fine.] Are you? Are you injured?

A few scrapes and bruises. The worse damage was to my ego.

[She's still very ashamed of her own behavior—including the lack of care she showed Shion.]

I'm glad you weren't hurt. I guess that's where he hurt us most. He turned us against each other.

[With relative ease at that.]

I can't disagree with you there.

[A pause, then:]

You're not beating yourself up about this too much, are you?

I tried to hurt a lot of people.

[He hadn't succeeded, which he could only thank his lack of fighting ability for.]

You, Setsuna, James, Steve...

[The list does get a frown out of Natasha. She knows some of those names by reputation more than personal experience, but she does know them all.]

I'm just glad everyone came out all right.

[More Shion than any of the rest of them.]

We'll do something about this. Make sure it doesn't happen again. All right?

[He nodded, frowning himself.]

We have to... It was... We can't let him get away with this.

[He's very aware how powerless they are. That dinner had been very much a display of that... But nor can they just let this happen. Without fighting it.]

[She's said it once; she says it again for emphasis, for reassurance.]

I'm not quite sure what we're going to do yet, but we'll figure it out. And soon.

We will. [He has faith in that. People had found a way to communicate without Barbas hearing. That was the first step. Now they could talk they could plan.]
